The Garden at Grand Point Church
Welcome to the women’s ministry of Grand Point Church! Through several in-person events throughout the year, we invite women ages 14 and over to join us for connection, teaching, and fellowship. Together, we will grow by cultivating faith, staying rooted in love, and flourishing in grace.

Gather your friends and make plans to join us for an evening of worship, encouragement, and intentional connection on Friday, November 13th. Our theme for the evening will focus on the final part of our mission statement: “Flourishing in Grace.” Cressa Coldsmith will interview Tesa Stinson in a fun talk-show style conversation. Meet Tesa!
Tesa Stinson is a wife to her high school sweetheart, a mom to two girls, and a woman with a passion to lead other women to Christ. At twenty-one years old and four months pregnant, she found herself assuming the role of caregiver to her husband. He had been severely injured while serving in Afghanistan.
Set on finding joy again, Tesa went back to college, earning her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. She found a love for gardening, working out, and making her spiritual and physical health a priority. In her free time, she enjoys a good book that whisks her away from reality or challenges her to be a better version of herself.
Injury, infertility, addictions, and the struggle to return to the civilian world threatened to steal her joy but stood no chance when she found a big God waiting for her.
Through in home Bible studies, leading women’s groups, coaching girls’ running clubs, and speaking at events, Tesa desires to motivate and encourage others to find their identity and joy in Christ.
Not wanting her pain and story to be in vain, Tesa openly shares her struggles to comfort others the same way that God continues to comfort her (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). Tentative Schedule
5-6PM – The Cider Shack will be on site for hot apple cider & apple cider slushie purchases
6PM – Welcome
6:15PM – Worship and Message
8:00PM – Connection & Snacks
Suggested Donation
A $10 donation is suggested to help cover the cost of future events.
If you would like to make this optional donation, payment can be made online, or by cash or check made payable to Grand Point Church with “The Garden” in the memo line. Donations may be dropped off at Guest Services at any campus during a weekend service, mailed, dropped off at the church office Monday-Friday from 8AM – 4PM, or brought with you to the event.
The donation is NOT a requirement and we would love for you to join us whether you choose to contribute or not!

FAQs
Who is this event for?
- The Garden is for any woman age 14 and up in our community who would like to attend. You don’t need to attend Grand Point Church to join us!
What time will doors open?
- Doors will open at 5PM.
Will there be assigned seating?
- Nope! We trust you to find a seat that works best for you and to meet some new friends! We’ll meet in the Sanctuary for the worship & message portion of our evening, followed by fun & fellowship.
I won’t know my schedule until the day of the event – can I show up as a walk-in?
- Absolutely – we would love to have you join us!
I can’t afford the suggested donation – can I still attend?
- Yes! The donation is optional and goes right back into the ministry to help us continue to offer these events. You are not required to pay to attend.
